Clearwater Fire & Rescue Kicks Off Safe Boating Week

Clearwater Fire & Rescue’s Marine Unit, the United States Coast Guard and other agencies are kicking off 2009 National Safe Boating Week. Clearwater Fire & Rescue will have its Marine Boat, Dive Truck and personal watercraft on display. Assistant Chief of Special Operations Kent Watts will speak about fire department marine operations including: dive operations, water rescues and marine firefighting.
